BTW, I notice it says “weaves” a scarf when it actually knits!
On a similar theme, I saw a blog today where one knits two rows of a garter stitch scarf every day to repesent the colours of the sky that day. Of course, I had to look it up on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sky-scarf
