Separated

6 October 2008

Public announcement in Department Store last Saturday:

“If you are separated from family or friends, please go to the Customer Service Desk on the 1st Floor”.

I’m separated from David by 10,000 or so miles and I’m missing him, so I thought about going up there.Ā  But I didn’t think they’d be able to help so I gave it a miss.

  3. Whew! Your post title gave me a shock when I read it and happened to notice David’s name in the post! That’ll teach me not to jump to cnclusions. LOL
And no, no matter how good, I don’t think they could have helped you.

  4. I thought you were going to talk about a prelude to a divorce…

It seems you can get just about anything in department stores these days. “Level 3: Wedding Registry, Homewares, Gift Wrapping, Whitegoods and Decree Nisi…”

  5. Hello!
well, I come here to your blog by “hazard” and started reading… became curious and continued reading… These posts are cool šŸ˜‰

Anyway, I’m writing this comment because I am also “separated” from my family. I am 17630 Kilometers away from my home village, where my family is. (I calculated it with the g00glemap tool of distances.)

And… GUESS where I am… IN SYDNEY! Yeah! I come here 3 months ago. Alone, just me. Every thing’s new, every thing’s different… the first week was tad horrible, but now I feel comfortable (except for missing my family.)

I won’t be back home on Christmas (because flights are quite expensive to Europe) but I’ll be back when finish my degree šŸ™‚
