Sydney Crochet Workshop

17 December 2012

Knitters and crocheters in this part of the world normally have to just look on in envy as we read about workshops being held by the “big names” in the Northern Hemisphere.  This is a long way to travel from North America and Europe, and I suppose we’re considered to be a pretty small market.

Which is why the Knitters’ Guild of NSW is really pleased to be hosting on Monday 7th January a couple of workshops by Stacey Trock of Fresh Stitches fame.  She’s one of the foremost Amigurumi crochet gurus.

The workshops are open to members and non-members of the Guild (I know we have two people attending from interstate!).

In the morning, there’s an introduction to soft toy crocheting and in the afternoon, you can make your own owl.  The workshops cost $25 each for members (discounted to $40 for the two) and $35 each for non-members.

You can get all the information you need on the website here.  If you’d like further information, or prefer to pay by some other method than Paypal, just leave a comment for me and I’ll get back to you.   After you’ve registered, you’ll be sent a list of items you need to bring along.

I’m hoping to see lots of new faces there (including those of some pretty stunning owls).
